Mammillaria senilis

This clustering species has distinctive,

long white spines small hooked tips 

The stems are globular & grow to 15cms tall  10cms wide.

In time it will cluster with basal offsets. 

Produces orange red flowers which contrast

fabulous with the pure white spines.

It will not survive a hard frosts.
